She has graduated from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai and has completed post-graduation in Anesthesiology from Madras Medical College, Chennai (DA) and National Board of Examinations, New Delhi (DNB). She has completed her Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) and European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC). She is currently working as Consultant in Apollo Speciality Hospitals, Vanagaram, Chennai.
