Dr. Radhika Dash

Dr. Radhika Dash acquired her MD in Anaesthesia from the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU Varanasi. Then she completed the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine, IDCCM in Chennai and the European Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (EDIC). She practiced as Assistant Professor, Critical Care at Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai where she helped to set up the intensive care pathways for the onco-surgical ICU and spent a considerable amount of time in the care of patients following Cytoreductive surgeries with Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (CRS-HIPEC). Her team helped to formulate early warning systems and ICU escalation pathways for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy unit at Cancer Institute (WIA). She did a short clinical observership under Prof. Elie Azoulay in Service de Medecine Intensive-Reanimation Medicale, Saint-Louis Hospital, Paris, France following which she was part of a collaborative team that offered intensive care support for Cancer Institute’s first BCMA chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR T) therapy in 2022.  She has completed the Adult Critical Care Fellowship at the UHN/Mount Sinai Hospitals, University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada where she was involved with the intensive care management of patients following immunotherapy, targeted therapies and stem cell transplant and Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy from Princess Margaret Hospital. She is currently part of the Critical Care team at the Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, Chennai.
