Dr. Balaji Venkatachalam completed his Diploma In Diabetology from Madras Medical College and Diplomate, National Board of Examinations (DNB) in Internal Medicine from Southern Railway Head Quarters hospital, Chennai. Subsequently, he completed Indian Diploma (IDCCM) and Fellowship (IFCCM) of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine and also European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC). He also completed his MRCP (UK) from London college of entry. He is a senior consultant and Clinical Lead at Vijaya Hospitals & Vijaya Health Center, Chennai.
