Dr. Ashwin K Mani

Dr. Ashwin K Mani obtained his MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, achieving multiple distinctions throughout his medical school. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, USA, where he was recognized with an award for exemplary teaching as well as awards for best performance in the in-service exam. Subsequently, he pursued a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. Dr. Mani holds American Board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care, and has been practicing in these fields for over 22 years.
He has contributed numerous original publications and served as an invited speaker at national and international conferences. Since 2005, he has held the position of Senior Consultant in Pulmonary Medicine and Clinical Lead for Critical Care at Apollo First Med Hospitals. Additionally, he serves as an examiner for the Indian Diploma (IDCCM) and Fellowship (IFCCM) examinations and is a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine (IJCCM).
Dr. Mani’s areas of interest include interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, ARDS, non-invasive ventilation, and neurocritical care. He possesses over 15 years of experience in tele-ICU through Hicuity Health Care (USA). His achievements include the Apollo Hospitals Award for Excellence in Critical Care Medicine (2018) and the Best Young Clinician Award (2021). Dr. Mani remains deeply committed to bedside clinical practice and medical education.
